Elizabeth A. Mouton, BA, BSN, MSN, APRN, FNP-C


A native of the City of Central, Louisiana, Elizabeth Mouton has worked in healthcare since 2009, and
received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, LA in 2015. While
working as an ICU nurse in Zachary, Louisiana, she re-enrolled at UL Lafayette and completed her
master’s degree in Nursing with a focus in primary care. She obtained her advanced practice nursing
certification with a focus on family medicine in the spring of 2017.


Since obtaining her nurse practitioner certificate, Elizabeth previously worked in acute care hospital
medicine at Lane Regional Medical Center and continues to work at AMG Long term Acute Care Hospital
in Zachary, LA. She provides outpatient primary care to the community of Central and surrounding
areas through the primary care practice of Dr. Mark Mouton. She also provides primary care to several
nursing home facilities in the local area and has hands-on experience with dementia and memory care
issues.


Elizabeth is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In her free time, she enjoys
time with her three children, gardening, fishkeeping, and home improvement projects.
